Ramp agent – Schiphol Airport

Would you like to work at one of the most dynamic workplaces in the Netherlands? As a Ramp Agent at Schiphol Airport, you play a vital role in the ground handling of aircraft. Together with your team, you ensure a fast, safe, and efficient turnaround.

What will you do?

In this role, you’ll be working directly around the aircraft on the ramp. Your tasks include:

• Loading and unloading baggage and cargo
• Coordinating the complete aircraft turnaround process
• Towing aircraft with a pushback tug to the correct gate
• Operating Ground Support Equipment (GSE) – full training provided

Who are we looking for?

• You are a team player who can keep calm under pressure. You enjoy physical work, are reliable, and always prioritize safety and quality.
• You hold a valid category B driving license
• You have a basic command of both Dutch and English
• You are flexible and available for early, late, weekend, and holiday shifts
• You are physically fit and enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions

What do we offer?

• Starting hourly wage: €16.25, up to €32.50 per hour including shift bonuses
• Shift allowances for evenings, nights, and weekends
• Paid training after receiving your Schiphol pass
• 1-year contract with the possibility of a permanent position
• 25 vacation days (based on full-time employment)
• 8% holiday allowance (paid in May)
