We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic baggage and platform employee to strengthen our team at Schiphol.

Bagage- / Platformmedewerker - Schiphol

For our client at Schiphol Airport, we are looking for motivated candidates who want to work and be further trained as all-round baggage and platform employees.

As a baggage/platform employee, you ensure that passengers' baggage is quickly and safely transported from the aircraft to the correct baggage belt and vice versa. Your duties include:

· Loading and unloading baggage on and from the aircraft

· Sorting baggage based on the correct flight and destination

· Scanning baggage for security checks

· Answering questions from passengers about their baggage

· Reporting any problems or damage to baggage

· Transporting baggage using ground equipment

What do we ask?

You have never had any contact with the police or the judiciary and can obtain a Declaration of No Objection*;

·        You are willing to work irregular shifts (including evenings and weekends)

·        You are willing to learn to use the required ground equipment so that you can move and control luggage;

·        You speak Dutch and English;

·        You are a real go-getter, can work well physically and are flexible;

·        You have a driving license B;

·        Have lived in the Netherlands for 8 years in connection with the security investigation by the Royal Marechaussee;
